The meeting of the Unterseen threshold corporation on Wednesday evening was a special one. Anyone wishing to enter the community hall had to put on a mask, disinfect their hands, sign a list and take a seat at a sufficient distance from the people sitting next to them. At half time there was proper ventilation and the usual aperitif after the meeting was over. Since the spring meeting could not take place due to the Corona, 14 agenda items had to be dealt with.
Yes to five credits
Maintenance and improvements to the Lombach protective structures and the logging along the side streams cause high costs every year. There are currently five projects (we reported). The assembly approved the necessary gross credits: 600,000 francs for the repair project between the Neuhausbrücke and the cross dam in the “Hindere Ey”; 225,000 francs for the improvement of flood protection from the Neuhausbrücke to the lake; 130,000 francs for the replacement of two sleepers (No. 54 and 55) with a block ramp; 200,000 francs for the protective forest and channel logging across from the Rossgrind; 170,000 francs for the Wagisbach-Bühlbach channel woodworking company. The projects are subsidized by different sources (to different degrees).
