The police did not disclose the specific reason why the murderer committed the crime, only saying it was an “unbelievable” reason. Considering that his father’s money was not taken away, Uncle Tao’s son guessed that he might be holding a grudge because he had not borrowed the money and was jealous of his father’s daily ease. He fished to collect rent, “but he didn’t know that his father had worked hard to earn it.”
