Zwijndrecht –
On Wednesday evening, the Flemish Parliament gave the green light for the establishment of a commission of inquiry. It has to get out of the starting blocks before the summer and find out what went wrong with the PFOS pollution in Zwijndrecht and the surrounding area, who is responsible for this and what lessons should be learned for the future. An unprecedented series of (former) ministers will have to provide text and explanation.
