Midsummer day approaches in Kyushu on the last day of the holidays, and there are showers in various places on the Pacific side
Tomorrow, the 5th, the last day of the holiday, is likely to continue to be hot due to warm air in western and eastern Japan.
It’s especially hot in Kyushu, with Fukuoka City’s highest temperature expected to be 29℃, the hottest November ever. China, Shikoku and the Tokai region will also experience summer days with temperatures over 25 degrees Celsius. For the first time in 34 years, Osaka will experience two consecutive summer days in November. Although there will be fewer summer days in the Kanto region, there will be many places where temperatures will be significantly higher than normal.
In many places in western and eastern Japan, it is sunny during the day, but on the Pacific side, where humid air enters, the atmospheric conditions become somewhat unstable. There will be scattered showers around noon in the Kanto region, and in the evening from the Tokai region to southern Kyushu.
Please be careful of the heat and sudden rain tomorrow.
Cold air is flowing into northern Japan, and the air is cold even during the day.
Tomorrow, the 5th, northern Japan will be affected by cold air, and the temperature is not expected to rise much. Looking at the temperature at around 1500m above the ground, it is below 0℃ in Hokkaido, and it is so hot that it snows in the mountains.
The predicted maximum temperature will be 12℃ in Sapporo. It’s about the same time as today, the 4th, and it looks like we’ll be enveloped in the cold air typical of November. It will be even colder in the morning than this morning, with temperatures expected to drop below freezing in Asahikawa and other cities.
The maximum temperature in Sendai City is expected to be 16℃, about 4℃ lower than today. There is less sunlight on the Pacific side of Tohoku, so the air will feel even colder.
