Dr Manar Ghanem, a member of the Media Center of the General Meteorological Authority, said it is possible that there will be significant changes in precipitation during the current fall season due to climate change and we have been affected by violent weather phenomena in recent years. .
Ghanem added to “Masrawy” that it is possible that unruly weather attacks will occur during the autumn season, such as those that have occurred in Aswan and Cairo in recent years.
Ghanem said rain is expected in the next 48 hours over areas bordering the Mediterranean, with light rains and thunderstorms.
Ghanem added that there is intermittent average rainfall on the western coasts, thunderstorms on Matrouh, Salloum, El Alamein, Alexandria, Beheira and Kafr El-Sheikh.
He indicated that light rains should extend to Port Said, Rafah, Arish, Menoufia, Gharbia, Sharqiya and the Canal cities, at intermittent intervals, and could extend to Cairo by 20%.
