In the Duindorp district in The Hague, a lot of police are on their feet on Friday evening. A spokesperson for the police reports Broadcaster West that several reports of nuisance by groups of young people have been received and that, among other things, a fire has been started.

The police therefore checked motorists, cyclists and pedestrians earlier in the day at various entrances to Duindorp.
Images show that young people with hoods and face masks walk through the neighborhood. Among other things, the fire brigade would have deployed to extinguish a fired container and scooter. A bus shelter has also been destroyed and loud bangs can be heard in the neighborhood. These are probably caused by fireworks.
It is not clear how many young people are involved. It is also not yet known whether arrests have been made by the police.
