“Unrecord: The Indie Game with Almost Photorealistic Graphics and Unique Gameplay”

French indie developer Alexandre Spindler yesterday published a two-minute gameplay trailer from his upcoming game called Unrecord. In just 24 hours the video garnered 350,000 views and has attracted considerable attention from the media and gamers alike, which is a respectable achievement for a hitherto unknown indie venture.

The video is primarily responsible for such high numbers graphic processing of the game itself, which is almost indistinguishable from reality. The gameplay footage looks so believable that some players accuse the creator of not actually playing the game, but real footage captured by the camera.

In addition to the almost photorealistic environment and lighting, it also contributes to the overall impression unique camera, which the creator refers to as a bodycam. Unrecord is powered by Unreal Engine 5 and is headed to PC. You can already add the game to your wishlist at Steam. But the author adds that he would like to bring the title to consoles as well.

At the same time, he points out that the game is not intended for VR. At its core, it should be about police tactical action, in which detective and tactical skills will come into play. We don’t know the release date yet.
