Unrecognizable: this is how Antonio Pagudo has changed after leaving ‘La que se avecina’ | Television on Cadena SER

‘La que se avecina’ is about to lose Javier Maroto, one of its most veteran characters. After the broadcast of its eleventh season, Antonio Pagudo, the actor in charge of embodying this computer scientist in trouble, will stop appearing in Telecinco’s star comedy. The reason? This was the explanation that Alberto Caballero, creator of the series, gave us: “At the end of each season the actors usually tell us if they are continuing or not, but he warned us later and it was more painful because we had already written chapters of season 12 “.

The real reason is that Pagudo will star ‘Benidorm’, the new comedy by Antenna 3.

The series has just started its recordings and we have been able to see the actor with a look that has nothing to do with Javier Maroto from ‘LQSA’. In ‘Benidorm’, the interpreter he gets into the shoes of a Basque notary and it looks like this:

What ‘Benidorm’, the new A3 series?

Xabier Zurita is a Basque notary who looks like a Basque notary. His life is as checkered as his shirts. Single, he doesn’t seem to ask more of life than the little pleasures of his routines. But everything changes when he receives an unexpected news: a tumor that grows in his head will kill him in less than three months. Overwhelmed by the news, Xabi is unable to share it with his friends and makes the first unpredictable decision of his life: pack his suitcase and head to Benidorm. The place where his happiness was fuller than ever. The place where he met, on his graduation trip, his first and only love: María Miranda.

As soon as he arrived in the city, he settled in the Hotel Benidorm with the mission of looking for that girl he had last seen for years. Saddened by his terrible illness and by not finding Maria, Xabi drowns his sorrows in alcohol in the hotel bar, where he tells all his misfortunes to Tony, a stranger who was passing by and who is stunned by Xabi’s confession: has saved three million euros.

Neither short nor lazy, Tony runs to see his girlfriend, Candy, a girl who works in a strip club Hoping there will be an opportunity to quit. Tony brings it to him on a tray, if they can convince the Basque that she is María Miranda, they will get an inheritance that will allow them to finally live the life they deserve.

Will Xabi fall into Tony’s trap? Will he end up returning to the Basque Country? And Xabi’s friends, will they leave him to his fate in the most popular beach town in Spain?
