The weather will remain changeable in our country for the time being, but this weekend it will also clear up in between. “We will start dry on Saturday with occasional sun. Then there will be some rain and thunderstorms. There is also a chance of hail and wind gusts in the east and south.”
That is what Rico Schreuder of Weerplaza says. At the end of the afternoon it clears up and it will be between 21 and 24 degrees. So we start with sun and end with sun.”
Festivalgoers don’t have to count on a sun-drenched party, but it won’t just get wet either. In Amsterdam, for example, where the Milkshake festival takes place this weekend, it will be dry again on Saturday afternoon. “Further in the country, towards the east, you will have to deal with showers a little longer.”
According to the weatherman, it will be a bit drier on Sunday, but not completely. At least it won’t get soaking wet that day. The temperature is then between 20 and 22 degrees.
After the weekend
We don’t have to expect sunny summer weather in the coming week either. “It remains very changeable with rain every day and a lot of wind and temperatures of about 20 degrees,” says Schreuder. “Normally it is 21 to 25 degrees at the beginning of August, so we are really below that.”
