Spider-Man: No Way Home is on its way to a huge bang opening weekend at box office worldwide. According to Box Office Pro will be the third solo adventure of Tom Dutch Web slinger is expected to earn a whopping box-office receipts of between $190 and $250 million in its first three days.
To start with, of course, was the presale on tickets already excellent. And then we don’t even count the people offering extortionate tickets on eBay of fight each other out.
Could it still happen at the last minute that there is at least one film this year, for the first time since Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker in 2019, breaking that magical $1 billion dollar barrier?
By the “lowest” estimate ($190 million), it’s still the biggest Spider-Man movie opening ever. Spider-Man 3 came to $151 million dollars in 2007 and predecessors Homecoming ($117 million) and Far From Home ($92.5 million) follow at an appropriate distance.
Synopsis of the story
For the first time in history, our friendly neighborhood spider’s identity is exposed and he can no longer separate his double life. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), the stakes will become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it really means to be Spider-Man.
No Way Home is currently scheduled for a release on December 16 and although that puts us in a bit of danger, let’s hope!
