(Elbil24): – The opening of our first lightning charging station for electric cars is an important strategic milestone, and marks the start of an ambitious investment in electric mobility, says Ole Robert Reitan in a press release.
Reitan is the CEO of Reitan Retail and chairman of the board of Uno-X Mobility. It is the latter company that is now establishing itself as a supplier of charging stations with 300 kW lightning chargers.
– Through Uno-X, we have a clear ambition to contribute to simpler and more sustainable mobility, and with us it will be quick, easy and cheap to charge the car, says Reitan.

Lightning charging while shopping
Uno-X plans to utilize existing locations in the Reitan Retail family when the company will establish new charging stations in the future.
This allows you to access the lightning charger when you park the electric car for a shopping trip on the Rema 1000.
– This means that in the future there will be Uno-X lightning charging at both selected REMA 1000 stores and Uno-X stations in Norway and Denmark, says Reitan.

Denmark first
The first charging station for Uno-X blde was opened on Friday by Denmark’s Minister of Transport Trine Bramsen. The charging station is located in Nyborg in Denmark.
In Norway, it is expected that the first charging station will be opened during the summer
