Unni Mukundan is the new film Shefiq’s Joy. The film also features Manoj K. Jayan in an important role. Manoj K. Jayan shares his acting experiences with Unni Mukundan. The two had previously acted together in the film Mallusingh.
Manoj K. Jayan is talking about Unni Mukundan’s crush on the sets that day. He said so in an interview with IndiaGlitz Malayalam.
“Unni’s film is a great joy. Mallusingh is said to be his first career break. We spent 40 days in Punjab for that film. We fixed one for him. Torn and fixed.
It wasn’t all bad, but it had some issues. The Innocents of being in Ahmedabad are terrible. He was about the innocence of the Malayali boy who came here. The film doesn’t need so many innocents.
So we have a bond between us. Biju Monon and I had a great prank along with Kunchacko Boban and Suraj. Unni was a sadhu boy. Calling him and acting knows only this.
We said we can’t leave it like that and took it away. Unni called me to act during the film Mepadiyaan. I couldn’t come that day,” said Manoj K. Jayan.
Meanwhile, Shefiq’s Khasad is directed by newcomer Anoop Pantalam. After Mepadiyaan, Unni Mukundan is also producing Khasad of Shefiq. Produced under the banner of Unni Mukundan Films.
The film tells the story of a young Shefiq, an expatriate from an ordinary family in a small village called Parathot.
Manoj K. Along with Jayan and Unni Mukundan, the film also stars Divya Pillai, Bala, Aadhaman Rajan, Arun Shankaran Pavumba, Shaheen Siddique, Mithun Ramesh, Sminu Sijo, Krishna Prasad, Jordi Poonjar, Anish Ravi, Geethi Sangeeta and Unni Nair. The film will hit theaters on November 25.
