The Melilla Ciudad del Deporte Volleyball Club qualified for the next round of the CEV Challenge Cup 2025 after beating Spartak Myjava by 0 sets to 3 in the second leg, played this Wednesday, October 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the town Myjava Slovakia.
Primer set
The first set was marked by a very close game. The local team had done its homework and had studied the Melilla tactics. With the peace of mind of having sealed their pass, the Azulinos took to the court in the third set with the firm intention of closing the match. The Slovaks, frustrated by the situation, initially gave in to the Melilla push, which allowed Salim Abdelkader’s team to take a considerable lead.
