Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Drone Attack on Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant in Russia

This morning in the Vologda region, an unmanned aerial vehicle attacked the Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant.

In the official Telegram channel The plant first stated that a “technological incident occurred” in the blast furnace production; one of the units was taken out for supposedly previously planned repairs. No one was injured as a result of the incident.

Later, acting governor of the Vologda region Georgy Filimonov stated, that at Severstal, as a result of being hit by a drone of unknown origin, “an incident occurred in the blast furnace area.” He insists it hasn’t disrupted her work.

Russian project VChK-OGPU with reference to plant employees, it reports that one blast furnace is completely out of order.
