During the summer months, it’s a great choice even if you don’t want to connect to not always very secure Wi-Fi networks,” says Silvia Cieslarová, director of the mobile services segment of O2. And adds: “More than two-thirds of the volume of Data was sold in full by customers in the Czech Republic. The rest then used this option abroad.“
Outside the Czech Republic, more than 20% of O2 customers used the Data service in full. This was most often in popular tourist destinations such as Croatia, Germany and Italy. Neighboring Slovakia follows right behind this trio.
In addition, statistics have shown that the service is not primarily used by the youngest users. Customers between the ages of 45 and 50 used the most data.
