Questioned for much of the championship, Miguel Herrera showed his ‘wisdom’ and why he begins to be calledor ‘The Lord of the Liguillas’ inside of the Mexican Soccer, as he has just signed a new Semifinal in his extensive history in Finals in the MX League, the number fourteen in his record as technical director.

After two years of not reaching the Semifinals, Piojo Herrera is faced with the possibility of balancing his effectiveness in this instance, since in the previous thirteen occasions he has been eliminated in seven of them, reaching the final seven times.
Herrera’s first Semifinal came 18 years ago, at the Apertura 2003 with Atlante, a team with which he lost the series to the Tuzos del Pachuca with an aggregate score of 2-1.
After that Semi came two more with Rayados, one in the 2004 Apertura and another in 2005, both with a runner-up.
Herrera spent almost seven years to reach a Semifinal again, now with Club América, with whom he would link four tournaments reaching this stage, managing to overcome it on two occasions, one of them with a title included.
From 2017 to 2019, Herrera stacked another six semifinals between Xolos de Tijuana (1) and América (5), winning only two series, one of them with another title with Club América.
