Lamborghini took its latest production flagship to the track and showed how it should really be driven. The powerful Revuelto was subjected to an unprecedented drive thanks to racing driver Andrea Caldarelli. The video, presenting the Revuelto from several countries, was filmed at the Autodromo Piero Taruffi track, located near Rome, in the Italian city of Vallelunga.
In the footage, the Revuelto shows how it handles the corners, while also demonstrating its acceleration on the straights. Lamborghini claims that the Revuelto is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and can reach a top speed of 350 km/h.
The first of many plug-in hybrid models to emerge from Sant’Agata over the next few years combines a new 6.5-liter V12 with a trio of electric motors. The system generates a combined output of 1,001 hp, significantly eclipsing all variants of its non-electrified Aventador predecessor.
After driving the Lamborghini Revuelto at full throttle on the Italian track, Caldarelli praised the handling, power and 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, adding that despite the impressive power figures, it has “excellent handling on the track”.
