This year, the contest is divided into 2 categories: The Designer and The Storyteller. An entry in The Designer category must create a single panel of cartoons, with only 1 out of 10 Taiwan Excellence products presented. The Storyteller entry must create a 4-panel cartoon artwork featuring at least 3 Taiwan Excellence products.
