He struggled with social media for a long time: Thomas Gottschalk (72) has now overcome himself and is personally present on Instagram. After just a few hours of posting himself, the show titan was followed by almost 19,000 fans. In an interview with “Bild”, the moderator was happy: “Friends, I’m going steep now, at an advanced age!” After more than ten years that the network is already online, Gottschalk now seems to want to use its reach: “After I rediscovered love at the end of 60, the second step now follows: Instagram! Everyone who is out there wants obviously only one thing: to encourage other people, I want that too!”, He told “Bild”.
While his account has been active since 2016, but was obviously looked after by those around him, the 72-year-old now dares to look beyond the TV box himself.
