Blood donation campaigns are essential to meet the demand that is always required in the city, for different treatments and people.
Specifically, a campaign was carried out with university students who participated in “There is a hero in your veins” to contribute with their donations to the State Blood Transfusion Center (CETS).
The campaign is a joint effort aimed at saving lives, bringing together committed colleagues, said Jonathan Ricardo Molina Ortiz, representative of CIFA.
In addition to the benefits for the population, altruistic values are fostered among students, promoting comprehensive training and highlighting the constant need for blood donations.
This is the third campaign carried out by the Research and Academic Development Committee of the Faculty of Medicine and Nutrition (FAMEN) of the Juárez University of the State of Durango (UJED) and in coordination with the Ministry of Health.
The Ministry of Health recognized the university community for its dedication to this cause, which also allows them to gain experience in logistics and coordination, preparing them for the future.
