University “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov” announces the launch of a new Robotics course aimed at students from upper grades.
The course is part of the National Program “Education with Science” and is conducted by the “Intelligent Systems” laboratory. Such type of events are described in the university’s strategy to strengthen the link between secondary and higher education by providing students with an opportunity to get to know the real academic and research environment.
The interested high school students are from PGEE “Konstantin Fotinov” – Burgas. The working group covers a total of 20 students from the 8th, 9th and 10th grades in various specialties.
The training will be led by one of our outstanding Software Technology students who will share his knowledge and experience with the participants. The course will include both theoretical foundations of robotics and practical activities where students will be able to program and control robots.
The main objective of the program is to promote interest in science and technology by providing students with the necessary skills and knowledge to meet the challenges of the modern world. The course will develop critical thinking, creativity and technical competencies that are fundamental to future developments in robotics, engineering and science.
The next courses related to programming, ecology, biology and health education will be announced soon.
