Students at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) criticize the operation under tightened Covid measures. They demand the end of the compulsory certificate or tests on site, which result in a certificate that is valid everywhere – the FHNW rejects these demands and speaks of concerns of a small minority.

For a month now, the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) has required a certificate for lecturers, students and other employees. Even before the introduction, an institute director resigned and criticized the certificate for excluding some students from classes. Later, the interest group “FHNW certificate-free” sharply criticized the regulation, and finally a lecturer and a student filed a complaint against the certificate requirement.
