- Usage tasks (lending and returning media; registration, biblical information, etc.)
- Active and passive interlibrary loan
- Acquisition and indexing of print monographs, series and online resources (location: branch library Asian / African Studies and Islamic Theology)
conditions
- Completed training as a specialist for media and information services or equivalent skills and knowledge
- Knowledge of usage and service processes in libraries
- Knowledge of interlibrary loan processes and the interlibrary loan regulations
- Familiarity with the workflows for acquiring and cataloging monographs and series
- Knowledge of the rules for cataloging (RDA and RAK)
- Knowledge of the ALMA and ALEPH library systems
- Knowledge of the most important conventional and electronic reference works
- good knowledge of German and English
- Task and goal-oriented action, high level of motivation and organizational skills, communication and conflict management skills, service-oriented and customer-oriented action
