The sports manager of Universitario de Deportes, Jorge Vidal, and the former cream player, José Carranza, joined a campaign that seeks to save the life of a child suffering from leukemia.
They went to the Almenara de Essalud hospital to donate blood for the benefit of Renzo Serrano de la Cruz, an 11-year-old boy who suffers from acute lymphatic leukemia. Renzo is hospitalized and needs financial help for the expensive treatment.
Through them, they seek to raise awareness among the population to join this noble cause and save the life of this child.
The ‘Puma’ Carranza did not think twice and went to the hospital accompanied by Vidal to donate blood and do his bit for Renzo. Even in social networks, the ‘hashtag’ #AyudemosARenzo was created.
If you want to join the cause, you can go to the Almenara hospital to donate blood from 7 am. to 11 a.m.
