Universities – Halle (Saale) – Fewer university degrees in the Corona year 2020 – Education

Halle (dpa / sa) – The number of university degrees fell in Saxony-Anhalt last year. In the 2020 examination year, around 8,500 final exams were reported as passed, as the State Statistical Office announced on Monday. That is about 700 less than in 2019. The statistics authority named the consequences of the corona pandemic as a possible cause of the decline, as exams were postponed to the following semester, among other things.
