ISTANBUL/OSLO (Aftenposten): – Women have no future in Afghanistan, says a desperate student in Kabul. She is indeed heading in the wrong direction, experts say.
When Sara Azami (22) arrived at her university in Kabul on Wednesday morning, she was met with closed doors.
– Today I was supposed to take an exam on children’s health. My last exam. As we entered, other girls and I were stopped by Taliban guards. They let the men in, but not the women, Azami told Aftenposten.
