Universal Robots joins the ecosystem of industries 4.0 of Dfactory Barcelona

Universal Robots, founded in 2005 in Ostend (Denmark), is the leading company in the manufacturing of collaborative robots (cobots). The company has a global and collaborative network of more than 1,200 distributors, system integrator companies and kit developers that integrate their solutions with their cobots and adapt to any industrial application.

With the arrival of Universal Robots at the Dfactory, the Free Trade Zone Consortium continues to expand its ecosystem. Jacob Pascual, General Manager for Southern Europe at Universal Robots; Jordi Pelegrí Country Manager of Spain and Portugal of Universal Robots and Pere Navarro, special delegate of the State of the Free Trade Zone Consortium, have met to sign this agreement that marks the beginning of the company’s activity in the industry 4.0 ecosystem of international reference promoted by the CZFB.

Having Universal Robots is a great privilege,” said the special delegate of the State of the Consortium.

From now on, Universal Robots will have a space in the Dfactory Barcelona to increase its possibilities of generating new business and enhance the brand among the entire public and large corporations that make up this space. Dfactory Barcelona has facilities of 17,000 square meters, on four floors, where 35 companies have already settled, which represents 85% of the occupancy.
