The insurance victim community Axa Mandiri, Prudential and AIA will report the problems they face to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
The community coordinator, Maria Trihartati, said that the victims would continue to demand justice.
“We will continue to act and convey to President Joko Widodo. We will also visit the Ombudsman and the DPR,” Maria said when contacted detik.com, Monday (24/1/2022).
Maria hopes that stakeholders can take steps to fix this insurance problem. “For the sake of the Indonesian people, no more victims! For the sake of change!,” he explained.
Previously, these customers took action in several insurance offices ranging from Prudential, AXA Mandiri and AIA.
Maria revealed that in the past the agents had never explained the risks that might be encountered in the future.
At that time the agents only disclosed potential profits. “So they only convey sweet things, they are not told the risks,” said Maria.
Because of that, Maria and her friends spent the night at Prudential’s office to get clarity from the management.
Maria said AIA’s customers had come to AIA Central to meet with company management and also asked for clarification. But the management does not want to meet the customer. Maria revealed that customers have come to the AIA office to meet with management.
“But the AIA stated that all the decisions have been given to me as the proxy but the offer presented to us while at OJK Lampung has been rejected,” he explained.
Then they also visited the AXA Mandiri office. “We have also visited AXA Mandiri but did not stay overnight,” he explained.
