Officers found the boy about a block from East Silver Spring Elementary School and returned him to the school where they were met by a school administrator. The video shows one of the police forcibly seating the crying child.
“Stop this noise now,” orders the other policeman. I hope your mom will let me beat you. ”
One of the officers released his handcuffs and closed one of the buckles around the child’s right wrist.
“Do you know who this is for?” he asked the boy. For people who don’t want to listen and don’t know how to act. ”
Montgomery County Council member Will Jawando said the video “made him sick.”
“We see a little boy being mocked, insulted, placed in a police car, verbally harassed by a police officer. That is violence, ”he condemns.
