The price of this art deco masterpiece has not yet been set by the two owners, the Emirati investment company Mubadala and the real estate group Tishman Speyer.

At the end of 2017, the value of the land alone was estimated at $679 million. For the record, the Chrysler Building had been the tallest building in New York for eleven months, before being beaten by the Empire State Building.

This sale comes as office real estate is sluggish in the “Big Apple”.
