United States: Mysterious Object in the Desert

A mysterious object has been discovered in an uninhabited part of the US state of Utah. A three-meter-long metal monolith was noticed by a helicopter pilot. Most of the American news services write about the case.

The routine helicopter flight, during which Bret Hutchings had to count the mouflons that lived in the Utah mountains, ended up very unusually for the pilot. In a remote part of the state, he noticed a three-meter-high metal block protruding from the ground. The object was clearly visible against the red rocks found in this area.

“This is probably the weirdest thing that has happened to me in all my years as a pilot,” Hutchings told local KSLTV.

Along with the pilot, there was also a biologist working on mouflons on board the helicopter. – It was he who noticed the object as we flew literally over it. He shouted, “We’re going back.” I asked him why should we turn back? He replied that there was something there and we needed to see it, ”recalls Hutchings.

The pilot added that he had looked closely at the object from above. He immediately noticed that the metal block was made by a man and there was no question of any interference by civilization from another galaxy. – This is probably the work of some artist, certainly a great fan of “The Space Odyssey” – he assessed.

While the author of the work is not known yet, his criminal liability is possible. In Utah, it is not allowed to install objects in public spaces without the consent of local authorities.

It is not known yet whether an investigation will be initiated. The location of the object has also not been disclosed.
