The United States ends 2022 with more than 6,000 minors injured or killed by weapon,
In total, 1,631 minors were shot and killed in a year marred by gun violence after the massacres in Buffalo (New York) and Uvalde (Texas), according to data published this Tuesday by the organization.
Moreover, 4,400 minors were injured with strokes.
Minors are 324 more than in 2021, and 3,111 more than in 2014, when Statistics began to be collected.

In May, an 18-year-old white supremacist entered a supermarket in the city of Buffalo (New York) and killed ten people, mostly African Americans, with a semi-automatic rifle.
A few days later, another 18-year-old, also armed with a semi-automatic rifle, entered a school in Uvalde, Texas. and killed 19 students and 2 teachers before being shot down by police.
