Henri, storm turned category 1 hurricane, heads straight north-east of the United States, a region usually relatively untouched by hurricanes, with flooding and heavy rains in prospect perhaps as early as Sunday morning.
With winds now up to 120 km / h, Henri must reach the American coast on Sunday at Long Island, near New York, or a little further north New England, according to the American Hurricane Monitoring Center (NHC), which confirmed in its 11 p.m. (3 a.m. GMT) bulletin that the hurricane was moving north more than 30 km / h.

“Henri moves faster. Dangerous rise in coastal waters, hurricane conditions, and precipitation leading to flooding are expected in parts of the northeastern United States from late tonight or early Sunday ”, also warned the NHC.
Seven to 15 cm of precipitation is expected across the region, and up to 25 cm in places, he said.
The National Meteorological Service announced on Saturday evening that it expected Henri to maintain a Category 1 hurricane when he arrived on the coast.
