WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. airlines canceled hundreds of flights on Saturday as scores of pilots and crew were affected by the novel Omicron variant of the coronavirus.
A total of 937 flights were canceled on Christmas Day, following 690 the day before, according to a count by flight tracking site FlightAware.com.
Almost 1,500 flights were also delayed.
