An online prophecy circulating among a fringe of the American conspiracy movement announced that the son of the former president would appear at the scene of his father’s assassination.
It was in Dallas that hundreds of people gathered on Tuesday at the site overlooking the spot where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated nearly six decades ago. The people, for the most part members of the QAnon conspiratorial movement, were equipped with “Trump-Kennedy 2024” shirts or even flags.
The fanatics #QAnon continue to flock to Dealey Plaza in Dallas to see the return of JFK, his wife and son. We swim in full delirium.

They predicted that the son of President John F. Kennedy Jr., who has been deceased for more than 20 years, would appear there, coming out of anonymity to become Donald Trump’s vice president when the former president is reinstated. The prophecy announced online did not, of course, come true.
At 12:30 p.m., the time Kennedy was shot, they recited the pledge of allegiance, reported the Washington Post. The crowd lingered, some for over an hour, only to finally slip away, with a few swearing that the Kennedy known as John-John will reappear at a Rolling Stone concert later that night. .
A “worrying” meeting
The show captivated people, some amused by the ridiculousness of the far-fetched theory that Kennedy faked his death. But the size of Tuesday’s meeting was “concerning” for Jared Holt, a resident researcher at the Atlantic Council’s Digital Forensic Research Lab, who studies domestic extremism.
QAnon supporters, along with members of extremist groups and white supremacists, participated in the failed U.S. Capitol uprising on January 6, coordinating the deadly event through the movement’s online discussion forums.
“For people to be in a state of mind where they are totally and hopelessly detached from reality opens up very dangerous possibilities for their future,” said Holt.
Kennedy Jr. died after crashing his six-seater plane in the Atlantic off Martha’s Vineyard in 1999. Kennedy’s wife Carolyn Bessette and sister-in-law Lauren Bessette also died in the crash . But several theories suggest that Kennedy is not dead and is living quietly under a pseudonym or as the chief financial officer of Pittsburgh.
