A US appeals court on Friday reinstated the vaccine obligation decided by the Biden administration for tens of millions of American employees, pushing its opponents to seek intervention from the Supreme Court.
The United States Court of Appeal for the sixth circuit of Cincinnati has lifted the unfavorable judgment rendered in November which had blocked the measure announced in September by Joe Biden.
The US administration announced in early November that employees of companies with more than 100 people, medical personnel and employees of federal agency contractors should be vaccinated by January 4, under penalty of weekly tests.
Hours after the Cincinnati appeals court ruling, at least three motions to block the measure were filed with the Supreme Court.
