Elon Musk becomes “Chief Twit” and is filmed at the Twitter headquarters
Elon Musk is expected to complete the acquisition of the Twitter social network by Friday and appears to be on track.
Elon Musk uploaded a video showing him on Twitter on Wednesday, which he will have to complete by Friday, and has renamed himself “Chef Twit” on the social network.
In the short film, the fiery businessman arrives at the reception of what appears to be the company headquarters, with a sink in his arms, hilariously. He thus plays on the word “sink”, used in an American expression that he posted in the message accompanying the video.
“I’m on my way to Twitter HQ – I’ll let you soak up the information!” or “let that sink in” in English, she wrote, in his name. To put an end, at his request, to the dispute between him and the leaders of the blue bird group, the Delaware judge in charge of the case gave Elon Musk until Friday to finalize the acquisition.
Seven months of adventures
The conclusion of the operation would put an end to seven months of adventures that have often pitted the Tesla boss at the top of Twitter. In early July, Elon Musk announced that he would give up control of the social network, a decision that Twitter had challenged in Delaware justice.
He had finally changed his mind in early October, a few days before a process that promised to be delicate for him. But Twitter had refused to dismiss his case, leading the chief judge to dismiss the case and ask the parties to settle by October 28.
