Lawson Craddock (EF Education-Nippo) became the United States Time Trial Champion for the first time in his career. The 29-year-old rider won with an 18 ” lead over Chad Haga (Team DSM) and 30 ” on his teammate Tejay van Garderen, while the title holder Ian Garrison (Deceuninck – Quick Step) only took 27th place more than 3 minutes behind the winner. In women, Chloe Dygert (Canyon SRAM Cycling), the 2019 world champion, won her first national title by beating Amber Nelsen (Cogeas – Mettler Pro Cycling Team), which had been crowned in the last three editions, and Leah Thomas (Movistar).
