The United States has registered another record number of new corona infections in the past 24 hours. According to Johns Hopkins University, more than 210,000 Americans are infected with the lung virus within 24 hours.
More than 2,900 people died in the same period from the consequences of an infection. A day earlier, 2,700 deaths were reported. For the first time, more than 100,000 residents are also in the hospital on Thursday (local time).
Health officials have already warned of “an outbreak on top of an outbreak” because a week ago millions of Americans traveled to their families to celebrate Thanksgiving, an important holiday in the US.

Pandemic is flaring up
The virus is flaring up again in the country. The bar of 200,000 daily corona infections was exceeded twice in the past month, but the number has never been so high.
