State Traffic Inspectors will hold United Road Safety Day on August 30 under the motto “Safe roads for everyone in the new school year!” The event is dedicated to preventing children’s road injuries before the start of the school year, reported in the State Traffic Inspectors of the Directorate of Internal Affairs of the City of Minsk City Executive Committee.
To ensure safety near educational institutions through heavy traffic of school children, the largest number of traffic police units serve together with other police officers, members of the volunteer team of the traffic police, the Republican Youth Union Belarus, and young traffic inspectors.
The traffic police remind that a special complex event “Watch out – children!” until September 5. In particular, during this time, drivers must travel with low beam lights or daytime running lights on the vehicle.
