United launches new transoceanic route, Boston-London AERO Magazine Latin America

United Airlines plans to boost its global route network by adding new nonstop flights between the United States and the United Kingdom. The main US airline announced that the new service will give its customers on the East Coast another option to fly to London.

On February 19, 2021, United Airlines reported that it plans to add additional service between Boston Logan International Airport and London Heathrow. The airline said it would operate the route using the Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, which offers travelers 46 seats in United Polaris Business and 22 seats in United Premium Plus class.

“We will continue to monitor recovery in demand and travel restrictions as we finalize the start date for this service later in 2021,” said Patrick Quayle, vice president of international networks and alliances.
