United Group, owner of Vivacom and Nova TV in Bulgaria, acquires one of the three mobile operators in Greece.
The company has reached an agreement to acquire Wind Hellas from Crystal Almond Holdings Limited. The Greek operator offers mobile, fixed, internet and television services and has 4.2 million users and over € 500 million in annual revenues. The deal, the value of which has not been announced, is expected to be finalized in 2022 after regulatory approvals.
The deal will allow United Group to combine Wind with its existing Greek pay-TV operator, Nova, to create a strong integrated operator that will be second in the country in providing broadband internet and TV services.
