“United Airlines Resumes Non-Stop Seasonal Service between Majorca and Newark”

The seasonal service is the only flight between the island of Majorca and the United States.

United Airlines has resumed its non-stop service with three frequencies per week between the Palma de Mallorca airport and the Newark Liberty International airport.

Originally launched last year, United’s flight from Palma de Mallorca will operate for an extended summer season until September 27, 2023, two weeks longer than in 2022.

The flight builds on existing United Airlines services from Spain: daily non-stop services year-round from Barcelona and Madrid to Nueva/Newark, seasonal services from Barcelona and Madrid to Washington Dulles, Barcelona to Chicago (also launching today) and from June 9, 2023, from Tenerife and New York/Newark, as well as a new seasonal service from Malaga to New York/Newark, from June 2, 2023.

United will operate in a total of five Spanish cities, more than any other US airline, and will be the only US airline to fly from Malaga, Tenerife and Palma de Mallorca to New York/Newark.

“As the only airline that connects Mallorca with the United States, we are delighted to return to Palma de Mallorca with an extended operating season for this summer of 2023,” said Antonio de Toro, Country Sales Manager Spain, United Airlines.

‘With the return of service to New York/Newark, our customers in Mallorca can take advantage of a direct connection to the US, as well as an unrivaled route network from United Airlines New York/Newark airport that offers convenient connections non-stop to 75 destinations throughout the Americas. This new route also provides easier access for US visitors to the Balearic Islands’ magical beaches.

The return of service between Palma de Mallorca and New York/Newark demonstrates United’s transatlantic leadership among US carriers.
