Among the reported issues, several passengers complained of nausea, while some individuals expressed chest pains, presumably due to the turbulence. Fortunately, no significant injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Resumption of Travel Plans After Evaluation
Following assessment by medical professionals, the United Airlines Flight 85, operating with a Boeing 787 jet, resumed its planned journey and continued towards Newark Liberty International Airport, according to New Windsor EMS Chief Michael Bigg.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) released an official statement concerning the incident that occurred on United Airlines Flight 85. The statement affirmed the safe landing of the Boeing 787 at New York Stewart International Airport at approximately 6:45 p.m. local time on March 29.
