One motorist has embarked on a unique project, assembling homemade cars dating back to Soviet times. Among his growing collection is the famous Virus coupe. In this article we will talk about another intriguing car – a fancy yellow coupe, reminiscent of old Italian sports cars, equipped with a Zhiguli engine and transmission.
The coupe’s body is made from fiberglass, a widely used material among automakers, allowing for the bold body panels envisioned by the project’s creator. A notable design feature of this car, reminiscent of the 1990s, are the pop-up headlights, which are controlled via a button on the front panel. The taillights are taken from the Yugoslav Zastava 101 car.

This car is built on a metal frame with a metal bottom, and at the front there is a 1.2-liter Zhiguli engine with a capacity of 59 horsepower, skillfully hidden under a side-opening fiberglass hood. The engine compartment features various custom solutions specifically designed for this car.

Most of the car’s glass is made of plexiglass, and the windshield is converted from a Volga, the edges of which were given the desired shape using a diamond blade.
