Unique Monet exhibition coming to Cologne: What to expect during the interactive tour

Cologne will have a special attraction from October 16. The exhibition “Monet’s Garden” brings works by Claude Monet to life in a unique way with projections and music.

From October 16 he is inside Cologne to marvel at a one-of-a-kind art exhibit. The new exhibition “Monet’s Garden” gives visitors a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of the famous painter Claude Monet (1840-1926). Using the latest technology and elaborate installations, Monet’s works come to life in a dramatic way.

The use of projections and music creates a brilliant world of color that allows the pictures to be experienced in a way that has never been seen before, according to the organizer. The show is designed as a fun ride that invites you to participate as well.

For example, visitors can activate Claude Monet’s color palette by kissing or transforming themselves into a painter while moving vigorously.

The exhibition takes place in the Alegria Exhibition Hall in Köln-Ehrenfeld and is open daily from 10am to 9pm (last entry from 7:30pm to 8pm). Entrance fees vary depending on the day of the week. On Mondays the entrance fee is 20 euros; between Tuesday and Friday visitors must pay 22 euros. On Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays, admission is 26 euros. Students and those entitled to discounts such as trainees and the elderly pay less, depending on the day of the week.

Tickets can always be reserved for a 15-minute entry time slot. Visiting time is unlimited. If a time slot is sold out in the online shop, tickets will no longer be available on the site. To avoid waiting times, the organizers recommend buying tickets online in advance. The exhibition can be visited until January 26, 2025.
