UNIQLO unveils new ‘RF Caps’ for Roger Federer ahead of Wimbledon 2021

Tennis ace Roger Federer is one of the most supreme athletes in the sporting world. Over the years, he has created a unique and humble identity for himself that has touched the hearts of millions of fans around the world.

For several years he has topped the rankings when it comes to off-court earnings. Recently, one of its sponsors, UNIQLO, the Japanese apparel brand that Roger Federer has been sporting since the 2018 season, unveiled the latest ‘RF Caps’, specially designed for the 2021 Wimbledon Championships.

The cap has been designed keeping the traditional white and green colors of Wimbledon in mind. Uniqlo and Federer have signed a long-term agreement and it is one of the biggest endorsement deals in the recent past.

At the end of last year, the Swiss star reacquired its ‘RF’ logo. Under legalities, Nike still had the rights. However, things have returned to their place and since the ‘RF Caps’ hit the markets, they were sold out in no time.

UNIQLO has designed a subtle cap for Roger Federer Going back to the recently launched cap, it is white, with the ‘RF’ logo shone in green in the center. In another variation, the cap is green and the logo is printed in white.

Reflecting on tennis, the Swiss master returned to action after nearly 14 months in Doha in March. After that, he participated in the clay court event in Geneva because he wanted to play at Roland Garros.

In Paris, he reached the fourth round of the 2021 French Open but did not show up for his match. I felt the strain of playing long and tedious matches after returning to action at the highest level.

That a 39-year-old player returns after two knee surgeries will take its toll. Therefore, he made the difficult decision to withdraw midway. Finished in the stylish beige x green colourways, our Roger Federer caps add a touch of sophistication to any look on and off the court.

He focuses on the grass season and currently plays in Halle.

After that, he will be seen at his beloved tournament, the Wimbledon Championship. All eyes will be on the teacher when he steps onto Center Court at South West 19.
