The Rhône inter-union CGT, FSU, Solidaires, CNT, CNT-SO and UNEF, calls for demonstrations for Labor Day on May 1 in Lyon. The demonstrators will leave the Place Jean Macé at 10:30 am, and will join the Place Bellecour.

The traditional parade of unions will take place for Labor Day on May 1st. The Rhône inter-union CGT, FSU, Solidaires, CNT, CNT-SO and UNEF, today announces that it is mobilizing collectively for a “day of international struggle for the rights of all workers“.

The unions denounce the government which “has put significant sums on the table to support part of the economy. But no compensation on employment has been requested from companies.“According to them, the Covid-19 crisis would create”a company that privatizes profits while socializing losses“.

Among the claims: “access for all to good sanitary conditions (free, removal of patents on vaccines and availability of these on a global scale)“.
