Urs Fischer cannot prepare Union Berlin for the game against Bayern Munich. The Swiss trainer left the training camp for private reasons.

FC Union Berlin has to do without Urs Fischer in preparation for the restart of the Bundesliga against Bayern. “The coach had to leave the training camp at short notice for private reasons,” said Oliver Ruhnert, Managing Director Sport, on Wednesday at a video conference. It is still unclear whether the Swiss will return to Munich until the home game on Sunday.
The reasons are not related to a corona infection or the quarantine regulations for the start of the Bundesliga, the club explains on its website. Before he left Barsinghausen, Fischer, like the entire team, had to undergo another test. The results of the fourth series of tests were all negative, Union explains.
Urs Fischer has been a Union Berlin trainer since summer 2018. With the traditional club from the east of the capital, Zurich surprisingly rose to the 1st Bundesliga a year ago.
