Union Berlin vs FC St. Pauli: Who will win?
The Bundesliga continues with the 2nd matchday and Union Berlin welcomes the FC St. PauliThe hosts had to play at FSV Mainz 05 to kick off the new season and managed a 1:1 draw in the Mewa Arena. In the end, the team led by new head coach Bo Svensson could have won, but ultimately the points were shared.
The first three points are to be secured in the home game against the newly promoted team. Union Berlin goes into the match as favourites, but should not underestimate FC St. Pauli, even though the latter suffered a 0-2 home defeat against 1. FC Heidenheim in its comeback in the Bundesliga.

Before kick-off, there was great euphoria in Hamburg, but FC St. Pauli failed to bring their offensive power onto the pitch. The guests from Heidenheim, who were by no means outstanding, mercilessly exploited the hosts’ mistakes and stole the points from Millerntor.
The loser of the duel between Union Berlin and FC St. Pauli will initially be stuck at the bottom of the Bundesliga table and will have made a bad start to the new season. (smr)
